Sunshine Stars captain, Sunday Abe is delighted his six-match suspension has been reduced by the League Management Company (LMC), Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The former junior international was handed the ban after he pushed the centre referee during a recent league game against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan.
He has had to sit out the Owens Waves last four league games due to the suspension.
The suspension was lifted by the LMC on Thursday and the versatile player intimated Completesportsnigeria.com that he is happy with the chance to represent his club again.
"I'm happy with the decision of the LMC and I want to thank them for reducing my suspension.
"The club (Sunshine Stars) have also done well to stand behind me.
"I have learnt from the situation and will always be of good behaviour in subsequent games."
