Sunshine Coach Dares Pillars Despite Eagles Absentees

By Adeboye Amosu:

Sunshine Stars coach, Kennedy Boboye, says the club can cope with the absence of three of their key players in the Glo Premier League match day 33 clash against champions Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

Three of the Owena Waves players, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Paul Onobi and Prince Aggreh, will miss the clash as they will be on international duty with the Super Eagles.

Boboye however revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com that he has other quality players that can stand in for their colleagues.

"It's a good thing that the players are getting international recognition," the former Sharks coach told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"It's a sign that we have quality players in this club.

"We are not panicking about the situation as we have capable replacements for the three players."

Sunshine Stars  lost 3-0 to Warri Wolves last weekend and another defeat to Pillars could ultimately end their slim chance of winning a first league title.
