Sunshine Stars striker, Tunde Adeniji, has told completesportsnigeria.com that he is relieved to have ended his goal drought after scoring the winner for his side in their 1-0 win against Abia Warriors on Sunday.
The hitman had failed to hit the back of the net for the Owena Waves in his previous four games.
He last scored for the Kennedy Boboye-led side in their 5-0 win against El-Kanemi on August 23.
Adeniji told completesportsnigeria.com that he is keen to score more goals to aid his side's title push.
"I'm happy to score for my club again after going for some weeks without finding the back of the net," he said.
"It's a big relief for me and I hope to score more goals before the end of the season.
"We still have a decent chance of winning the league and I must give my best by scoring on a more consistent basis."
The former Rising Stars striker is tied on the top scorers chart with Esosa Igbinoba of Nasarawa United.
Both players have hit the back of the net 14 times and they need to score nine more goals to equal Mfom Udoh's 23-goal mark set last season.
