The Super Eagles have collectively congratulated their colleague Ahmed Musa on the birth of his new baby.
The CSKA Moscow star became a father for the second time this week when his wife, Jemila, was delivered of a baby girl.
Musa’s first child is a boy.
The Super Eagles official Twitter handle formally expressed the players’ good wishes to Musa on Thursday.
It tweeted: “Congrats to our super winger, Ahmed Musa and his wife Jemila on the safe arrival of their second child, a girl. @thenff.”
A picture of Jemila and the baby was also posted online woth another one of Musa in agbada, the traditional Nigerian flowing gown for men.
Musa scored twice on Wednesday night to celebrate his new arrival, as CSKA defeated Sparta Prague 3-2 to qualify for the Champions League play-offs.
