Super Eagles’ Jamiu Alimi Joins Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars have signed Super Eagles defender Jamiu Alimi for an undisclosed fee after he agreed personal terms, the player has informed Completesportsnigeria.com.

The 24-year-old will join ‎Mohammed Baba Ganaru’s side in Ijebu Ode where they are currently preparing for the forthcoming season.

‘I’m delighted to have moved. I can’t wait to get started now,” Alimi told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“As soon as Pillars showed an interest, I knew that was the one big clubs I wanted to play for in Nigeria.”

Alimi who featured in two of the three games for the Home Eagles at the just concluded African Nations Championship in Rwanda had previously featured for Sharks Football Club and Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

He has five international caps to his name.
