By Johnny Edward, who was in Dar es Salaam:
The Super Eagles arrived in Port Harcourt in the early hours of Sunday after Saturday’s 0-0 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying result against Tanzania in Dar es Salaam.
The team’s chartered Arik flight landed in Port Harcourt around 2.20am having left Dar es Salaam around 10pm Tanzanian time (8pm Nigerian time) on Saturday.
There was some turbulence during the flight but the plane landed without incident and the Super Eagles are ready for the friendly against Niger.
The 2013 African champions host Niger on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
The draw with Tanzania leaves the Eagles with four points in their qualifying group.
They top the group ahead of Egypt, who have three points but play Chad on Sunday.
Chad are pointless, while Tanzania have one point.
