The Super Eagles of Nigeria will know their opponents in the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on 24 June, 2016 in Cairo, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Confederation of African Football announced the date on their official twitter handle on Friday.
Sunday Oliseh’s charges defeated Swaziland 2-0 on aggregate to book their passage into the last round of the qualifiers.
Top African sides like Ghana, Cote dl’voire, Algeria, Egypt and Cameroon are among 20 countries that made it to the last round.
Five countries will represent Africa at the World Cup.
The Super Eagles were eliminated in the second round against France at the last edition of the competition in Brazil.
