Super Falcons Lose To CIV, Finish 2nd In Group B

Nigeria's Super Falcons lost 2-1 to Cote d Ivoire on Saturday at the at the Unity Stadium in Kintele, Brazzaville in their  Group A game of the ongoing 11th All Africa Games in Brazaville, Congo. 

Nigeria's Mercy Amanze scored Nigeria's goal but Rebecca Amon Elloh equalised for the Ivorians. Nahi Jose ensured victory for the Francophone West Africans via a penalty kick. 

Super Falcons  thus finished second on the group with six points, three points below the Ivorians. 

The Super Falcons who defeated hosts Congo 5-1 and Tanzania 3-0 on Saturday will now play against the winners of Group B.
