Nigeria U-23 midfielder Kingsley Sokari is over the moon following his debut goal for CS Sfaxien in the Tunisian league on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The 'Juventus of Tunis' defeated Zarzis 2-0 at the their Stade Taleb Mhiri with Sokari grabbing the second goal of the game in the 66th minute, 38 minutes after Maher Hannachi scored the first.
The former Enyimba star told Completesportsnigeria.com his feelings about the goal:
"The game was an exciting one and I'm happy that I've finally scored for my club," Sokari told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I received a pass from outside the eighteen-yard box and then fired a shot from there and it went inside their (Zarzis) net.
"The fans' applause was something that boosted my confidence. Junior (Ajayi) also played and did quite well," Sokari added.
CS Sfaxien are second in the Tunisian Ligue 1 table with 34 points after 14 games.
