Taraba Players Shun Chief Of Staff, Continue Strike

FC Taraba players are unperturbed by the harsh cold weather conditions  and are continuing with their strike in protest of the non-payment of their 11 months salaries, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The players have been sleeping in front of the Taraba State Government House for the past four days in their bid to force the government to pay their salaries.

The players, Completesportsnigeria.com learnt, have turned down several  pleas to leave the government house as they are keen to meet the state governor.

The latest top official to address was the Chief of Staff to the Taraba State Government, who they refused to listen to.
The Jalingo-based side will campaign in the National League next season following their relegation in the 2014/2015 season.
