Taraba United have no plans to overhaul their coaching staff despite the team’ s poor start to the season, completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The Jalingo-based outfit are without a win in their last nine Glo Premier League fixtures prompting speculations that handler of the side, Tony Ogharanduku, could be ask to be step aside.
But outgoing General Manager of the club, Tijani Babangida, disclosed to completesportsnigeria.com that they harbour no such plans for now.
“We are not thinking of sacking the coach for now,” the former Nigeria international told completesportsnigeria.com.
“One cannot totally blame the coaching staff for our poor performance this season as there are other important factors that have hampered the players’ output.
“We have financial difficulties at the moment and when the players don’t get their salaries on time it will definetely affect their performance.
“We are looking to resolve that as we believe it will go a long way in improving the performance of the players.
“It is after then that we can talk about the total assesment of the performance of the technical crew.”
