Nigeria's representatives in this year edition of the Gothia Cup, TikiTaka Academy, have left the country for Sweden to participate in the competition.
The team comprising U-20 players was led by chief scout Efe Erusafe, head coach Akeju Asprilla and secretary Segun Adebayo for the trip.
Director of the Academy, Prince Adetola, expressed confidence that his side will make an impact in the competition.
" Our U-17 team will for the first time travel to Gothenburg, Sweden thanks to the invitation given to us by Gothia Cup and The Gothia
Tipselit Trophy. We are looking forward to an exiting football week for our players and coaches in this international high quality tournament," Adetola said.
The young academy was founded two years ago by Swedish and Nigerian owners.
