Major League Soccer (MLS) side Toronto FC have parted ways with Nigeria striker Bright Dike, the club have announced.
Dike joined Toronto FC in 2013 from Portland Timbers but only featured in 11 MLS matches for Toronto and scored a goal.
His playing time was severely limited by long-term injuries that have seemed to plague Dike's career wherever he has played.
In 2015, the 28-year-old appeared in only two matches for Toronto FC, with an assist in 20 minutes of play.
The striker was subsequently sent on loan to the San Antonio Scorpions of the lower North American Soccer League (NASL), where he managed just a goal.
