Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho and Ivory Coast superstars Yaya Toure and Wilfried Bony combined to send Manchester City to the top of the Premier League on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Swansea.
Bony scored City’s opener in the first half after a dominant display from the home side.
BBC African Footballer of the Year Toure then scored a late winner.
Bony had scored a 26th minute headed goal from a corner but Bafemti Gomis scored the equaliser in the 89th minute when he latched onto a pass from midfield to unleash a powerful shot from an acute angle.
Toure though had the final say with just a minute to play in added time when he curled in a shot that deflected off Iheanacho and looped over Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski into the net.
Joe Hart had a good game for City as he saved a couple of shots and headers from Swansea stars especially the impressive Gylfi Sigurdsson.
