Nigeria’s Falconets defeated DR Congo 2-0 in the second leg of the qualifiers for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
The game which was played inside the main bowl of the Abuja National Stadium, saw the Falconets take the lead through Chiwendu Ihezuo in the seventh minute.
Ihezuo was on target again after scoring in the 56th minute, to give the Falconets a 2-0 win.
The win sees the Falconets progress 4-1 on aggregate after they defeated the Congolese 2-1 away in the first leg.
They will face South Africa in the final round of the qualifier for a place in Papua New Guinea come next year.
