Algeria U-23 coach Andre Schurman has stated that they will be going into Saturday's final of the CAF U-23 Cup of Nations against Nigeria full of confidence.
The Algerians beat South Africa 2-0 in the second semi-final, and will face Nigeria for the second time in the tournament after their first meeting in the group stage ended goalless.
Schurman who hailed the South Africans for their performance, said the final will be a joy to watch.
"The objective was to qualify for Rio and we achieved that. I've to congratulate my team they fought up to the last minute," he told the official CAF website.
"South Africa was a difficult opponent but we managed to get the result and we're confident going into the final.
"Group B was the toughest in the tournament but it doesn't mean that we're the best teams in the tournament. The final will be interesting because the two teams have played in the group stages and now it will be a repeat on Saturday."
