Nigeria’s U-23 Eagles will take on Gambian top side Real De Banjul FC in a friendly game ahead of the CAF U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal.
The game comes up on Saturday at the practice pitch of the FIFA Goal Project, Banjul at 9am local time (10am Nigerian time).
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, it is the first of three test games lined up for the U-23 Eagles in Gambia as they intensify preparation for the U-23 Cup of Nations.
Among the players expected to feature for the U-23s are Emmanuel Daniel, Segun Oduduwa, Stanley Dimgba, Oghenekaro Etebo and Chile U-17 World Cup top scorer Victor Osimhen, who has overcome his malaria attack and is now training with the team.
Their opponent in Saturday’s friendly, Real De Banjul, finished second in the Gambian league.
They also took part in last season’s CAF Champions League.
The CAF U-23 Cup of Nations takes place in Senegal from Saturday, 28 November to Saturday, 12 December 2015, with the U-23 Eagles taking on Mali on Sunday, 29 November in their first game.Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
