Nigeria have qualified for the African U-23 Championship in Senegal after holding Congo to a 0-0 draw in the return leg of their qualifier in Pointe Noire.
Needing to avoid losing by 1-0 or a heavy defeat, the U-23 Eagles held their hosts to a draw to end the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
In the first leg played two weeks ago in Port Harcourt, Junior Ajayi got a brace for Nigeria while Moise Nkounkou got Congo only goal.
