Nigeria U-23s forward Junior Ajayi has told completesportsnigeria.com that they are not scared of coming up against Ghana and Egypt in the football event of the 11th All Africa Games to be staged in Congo Brazaville.
The Samson Siasia-led side will face the two African giants alongside Senegal in Group B of the event.
And Ajayi is upbeat his team can scale the hurdle despite the threat posed by the tough opponents.
”Ghana and Egypt are two of the best sides in Africa but we are not afraid of them,” Ajayi, who scored key goals in the qualifiers for the All-Africa Games, told completesportsnigeria.com.
”It’s good that we know what we are up against now as that will enable us to prepare hard for the task ahead.
”Now we must continue to work harder as that is the only way we can succeed at the competition.
”To be the best you have to beat the best, so we are ready for any opposition.”
