By Bamidele Boluwaji:
The U-23 national are expected to travel to Bauchi on Friday where they will play Wikki Tourists in a build-up game ahead of their Olympic Games qualifier against Congo next month.
Media Officer of the team, Timi Ebikagboro, revealed to completesportsnigeria.com that the team will also travel to Jos to play Plateau United in another friendly match before returning to their Serob Legacy Hotel camp in Abuja early next week.
According to him, the friendly matches will help the coaches to know the fitness level of the players and how prepared the players are for the challenges ahead of them.
Meanwhile, coach Samson Siasia has called on all the players to give their best in every friendly match they will play, saying only the best will make the final list.
“They all need to work hard because we are going top pick the very best for the match,” he said.
