Nigeria U-23s ended as Group B winners after a dramatic 1-1 draw with Senegal at the 11th All Africa Games men’s football event in Brazzaville.
Samson Siasia’s men had already qualified for the semi-finals on Wednesday following the impressive 2-0 victory over Ghana.
They then sealed top spot in the three-team group (Egypt withdrew) with the last-gasp, come-from-behind draw with Senegal.
The Senegalese looked to be heading to the top of the group when they took the lead through Ibrahima Keita in the 81st minute.
But the U-23 Eagles fought back gamely and snatched a late, late equaliser four minutes into added time.
Nigeria ended with four points, Senegal with two and Ghana with just one.
