Nigeria U-23 Eagles striker Etebo Oghenekaru has said they are ready to spill blood in Congo to qualify for the final stage of the Rio Olympic Games, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Etebo who gave the two assists that led to the two goals scored by Junior Ajayi said the Dream Team VI as the U-23 side is popularly known will play the return leg as if their life depended on the game.
“We are ready to spill blood to ensure that we progress to the Africa championship in Senegal. We know they will do everything possible to intimidate us to submission but we shall give them the fight of their life. We are going their to win.
“Our coaches have told us to approach the game as if we are we were two goals down from the first leg and that is just what we will do in Pointe Noire. We will try to take every scoring chance we get and put pressure on them. To tell you the truth, we intend to beat them again” stated the WarrI Wolves player.
He disclosed further that they have trained to a point of pain and they will be banking heavily on the experience of coach Samson Siasia to eliminate the Congolese before their home fans, adding that Congo can not stop their dream of going to the Olympics
