Super Eagles youngster, Alex Iwobi, has stated that Arsenal are confident of finishing top of UEFA Champions League Group A ahead of closest rival Paris Saint-Germaine.
Arsenal and PSG are both on seven points but Arenal are top on superior goals difference.
The last time Arsenal finished top of a Champions League group stage was in the 2011/2012 season.
And commenting on Arsenal's current position as Group A leaders, Iwobi said a win against PSG at the Emirates (first leg in France ended 1-1), will make it possible.
"Yeah, we are confident," Iwobi told arsenal.com after Arsenal's 6-0 victory against Ludogorets.
"We did well at [PSG’s] place and we believe that on our home ground, with the fans on our side, we probably could get the win and probably finish first."
And on Wednesday's win against Ludogorets, Iwobi who replaced Alexis Sanchez in the game, expressed delight for the win, describing it as a professional display.
"It was definitely the biggest win I've played in. We were professional from the start, from the first whistle to the last whistle and we played very well. It's a good result for us."
Despite Arsenal's good start to this season, Iwobi said they are working on the mental side of their games this season.
He added: "We’re not trying to get ahead of ourselves, we're taking each game as it comes. It’s basically our mental side that we were working on. We’ve still added that to our game and we believed if we're mentally prepared in ourselves for this game that we would do well in November and it won’t be such a tough time, hopefully."
