Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi made his fourth European start for Arsenal who recorded their first win of the 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 victory over FC Basel at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The England international finished off a swift counter-attack with a thumping header in the sixth minute following a cross from Alexis Sanchez.
The 25-year-old doubled his side’s lead when he played a lovely one-two with Sanchez before firing a low shot into the far corner via the bottom of the post for his fourth goal in three games so far this season.
Iwobi who was rather quieter than his usual self had his moment when he raced down the Basel goal but his effort went inches wide.
He was replaced in the 70th minute by Mohamed Elneny.
In Bulgaria, Paris Saint-Germain came of a goal down to beat Ludogorets Razgrad 3-1 to top Group A after match day 2.

In Group D, Atletico Madrid handed Bayern Munich their first defeat of the season with a 1-0 win.
FC Rostov held PSV Eindhoven to a 2-2 draw.
