—Iheanacho In Group Of Death, Simon Up Against Valencia

Nigerian quartet of Ahmed Musa, Nosa Igiebor, Kelechi Iheanacho and Moses Simon and their club sides, will have their hands full when hostilities for this season’s UEFA Champions League kicks off.
Following the draw that took place on Thursday, Musa’s CSKA Moscow who are in Group B, will contend with two former winners of the competition, Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg from Germany.
Iheanacho and Manchester City will slug it out in Group D with Juventus, who were champions in 1985 and 1996; Sevilla, who are current holders of the Europa League, and Borrussia Monchengladbach.
Igiebor’s Israeli side, Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are in Group G, will have to do battle with two former champions of the competition, Mikel Obi and Victor Moses’ Chelsea and FC Porto, and Dynamo Kiev.
Simon and his Belgian side Gent will keep dates with Zenit St. Petersburg, Valencia and Lyon.
