Enyimba forward, Mfom Udoh, has told completesportsnigeria.com that he is desperate to end his goal drought.
The erstwhile Akwa United striker scored 23 goals for the Peoples Elephant last season to top the scorers’ chart.
He has however endured a torrid time in this campaign as he has spent limited time on the pitch due to injury.
He recently returned to action for the six-time Glo Premier League champions, but is yet to add to the four goals he scored prior to his injury.
“Like every striker I love to score goals and I hope to start doing that soon,” he told completesportsnigeria.com.
“We are moving to the crucial part of the season and it’s important for me to start scoring again so as to help my club win the title.”
Udoh fired blanks once again as Enyimba beat Taraba United 1-0 on Mondayto reclaim top spot in the Glo Premier League.
