Enyimba captain, Chinedu Udoji, is upbeat his side will move into the group stages of the CAF Champions League despite the threat posed by Tunisian side, Etoile du Sahel, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Nigerian champions will face the Sousse-based outfit at the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt next Sunday in the first leg of their second round tie.
The centre-back admitted it will be tough coming up against the North Africans, but is however confident Enyimba will scale through the hurdle.
“Etoile are one of the best teams in Africa and we are expecting a difficult game against them,” Udoji told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“We are determined to make it to the group stage and nothing is going to stop us.
“It’s important for us to get a good result at home and then consolidate on that in the second leg.”
The Peoples Elephant beat Vipers Sports Club and Vital’0 of Uganda and Burundi respectively to get to the second round.
