Vipers Sports Club of Uganda will find it tough to cope without their star midfielder, Farouk Miya, in Friday's CAF Champions League clash against Nigerian champions, Enyimba, Completesportsnigeria.com has been informed.
The 18-year-old who played a key role in the club's title winning campaign last season recently linked up with Belgian outfit, Standard Liege on loan.
He scored 11 goals and made seven assists to help Vipers win the Uganda Premier League trophy.
"Miya is one of the biggest stars in Uganda football at the moment and it will be difficult for Vipers to deal with his absence against Enyimba," Clive Kyazze, a top Ugandan journalist who works with the Vision newspaper informed Completesportsnigeria.com.
"We all saw his ability as a player at the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
"Without him, Vipers have a tough battle ahead of them against Enyimba."
The match will be played at the 5,000 seater Buikwe Bunamwaya Stadium, Wakiso Town.
