Anthony Ujah has stated that he expects a hostile reception towards him when Werder Bremen go away to face his former club, Cologne,on Saturday.
Ujah, who has scored 11 Bundesliga goals this season, was at Cologne for three years before joining Werder Bremen.
The forward scored 36 goals in 102 appearances for Cologne, and played a big part in their return to the Bundesliga.
In a chat on Werder Bremen's official website, Ujah however said he was more concerned about Bremen winning the game.
"I am looking forward to playing there again, in the stadium and in front of the fans. I had three important years there,"
"I am not expecting a nice atmosphere, that’s just how it is in football. It’s a shame, but I won’t be bothered by it."
"I am concentrating on the game. I just want to help my team."
