–Cologne striker happy rejoining Eagles Colleagues
Cologne striker Anthony Ujah arrived in Uyo yesterday, saying he is eagerly looking forward to the two international friendly matches with Uganda and South Africa.
The 24-year-old revealed that he’s relishing the prospect of fraternizing with his international colleagues, adding that the Cranes of Uganda should not be taken for granted.
”I arrived in the Super Eagles camp already, and will train with the team today,” says Anthony Ujah to SL10.ng.
”I’m looking forward to the games and getting to meet my teammates. I already know many of them so that will help in settling down. Hhopefully, we will have a good outing.”
Asked to predict the outcome of the game at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Ujah said: ”I expect a good football from both teams as the Ugandans are not a pushover as they showed against Ghana.”
Anthony Ujah has accumulated a total of 62 goals in 135 matches since moving to Europe in 2010 from Warri Wolves.
