Home-based Eagles star, Usman Mohammed is unsure if he will be part of Nigeria's squad to the African Nations Championship in Rwanda, reports Completesportsnigeria.
The FC Taraba midfielder is linked with a move to Norwegian side Lillestrom and joining the club will automatically rule him out taking part in the competition that is reserved for African players plying their trade in their country's domestic leagues.
Mohammed informed Completesportsnigeria
"I can't state categorically if I will be part of the team to Rwanda," Mohammed hinted Completesportsnigeria.
"It is only my representatives that can answer that question. At the moment, I don't have much to say about my participation in the competition."
Should he eventually pulls out of the team, Usman will be the second regular member of the side to have voluntarily pulled out of the squad following Gbolahan Salami's refusal to link up with the rest of the squad after their two days christmas break, in favour of a move to Europe.
