Victorious U-23 Eagles Land In Abuja

The Nigerian U-23 squad have arrived home after their heroics in Pointe Noire, Congo.
The team, led by coach Samson Siasia, held hosts Congo to a 0-0 draw on Sunday to qualify for the African U-23 Championship in Senegal.
The championship will serve as qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games men’s football event.
Nigeria won the first leg in Abuja.
The team landed in Abuja on Tuesday morning, the Nigeria Football Federation announced moments after their arrival.
Nigeria, led by Siasia, won silver at the Olympics in Beijing, China in 2008 but failed to qualify for the London Games four years later.
