Warri Wolves Keeper: Salary Crisis Won’t Derail League Title Hopes

By Adeboye Amosu:

Warri Wolves goalkeeper, Okiemute Odah, insists their recent strike action over unpaid salaries will not affect the club's title quest, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The players shunned training for a few days prior to their week 32 clash against Sunshine Stars and earlier this week threatened to boycott Thursday's clash against Lobi Stars in Makurdi.

The Seasiders sit in second position, three points behind Enyimba on the log.

The goalie told Completesportsnigeria.com that they have put the salary talks behind them and are now focused on their title push.

"I don't want to talk about that (salary) for now," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"What is important now is the game against Lobi Stars and our remaining games this season.

"We have a good chance of winning the title and we do all we can to achieve our objective."
