Glo Premier League outfit, Warri Wolves, are confident they can cope without two of their regular players, Gbolahan Salami and Okiemute Odah, in Wednesday's crucial clash against Akwa United.
The Seasiders, who are chasing a first domestic title, sit in second position on the log and will be without the key duo who are away on international duty.
Salami is the club's top scorer with 14 goals. The forward has hit the back of the net four times in his last two outings for the club.
Odah on the other hand has been a strong pillar in goal since erstwhile first choice, Daniel Akpeyi, joined South African Premier League side Chippa United earlier in the campaign.
Media Officer of the side, Moses Etu, told Completesportsnigeria.com that their absence will not affect the team's performance against the Promise Keepers.
"They (Salami and Odah) are key players for us, but we can cope without them," Etu said.
"It's a chance for the other players in their positions to show what they can do.
"The game against Akwa United is an important one for us and I believe we will secure maximum points at the end of the day."
