Watford coach, Walter Mazzarri, is still undecided on whether he will hand new signing Isaac Success his competitive debut in Saturday’s English Premier League clash against Arsenal, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigerian forward, who joined the Hornets from Spanish club Granada earlier in the summer for a club record £12.5m fee, is yet to feature in a competitive game for Watford due to injury.
Success has since returned to training but the Italian coach is not sure he will be fit to face the Gunners.
“He is an important player. He trained on Friday and a decision on if he is ready to play against Arsenal will be made on Saturday,” Mazzarri told reporters in his pre- match conference ahead of the clash.
Success, a member of Nigeria’s U-17 side that won the title at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, made 49 appearances in his two-year stint at Granada, scoring seven goals.
He is expected to form a formidable partnership with countryman Odion Ighalo in Watford’s attack.
Watford are still looking for their first win of the season following a draw and loss in their opening two fixtures.
