Wenger: Bad Decisions Cost Arsenal Against Liverpool

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has described his side’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday as a disappointing result.
Goals from Roberto Firmino (brace), Joe Allen for Liverpool, Aaron Ramsey and a double from Olivier Giroud for Arsenal, saw both teams share the spoils in a thrilling contest.
In his post-match reaction, Wenger praised both teams for giving everything in the game.
“The game had total commitment from two teams.
“We had a difficult start, they were on top in the first 20 minutes and I believe after that we came well back into the game.
“Of course, in the end we were the most disappointed because we were 3-2 up. But I feel as well at 3-2 we were guilty of two or three bad decisions in the final third where we tried to play not together enough and in the end we got caught on a long ball.
“It’s unfortunate, but overall you cannot fault both teams for giving absolutely everything.”
The Gunners next game comes up at the Britannia where they will take on Stoke City.
