Wenger Regains Voice On Title Race After Arsenal Win At Bournemouth

Arsene Wenger has stated that Arsenal are still in the title race after they beat Bournemouth 2-0 at Dean Court on Sunday.

Goals from Mezut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, sealed the win for Arsenal, who had gone four games without a win.

Speaking in his post-match, Wenger described the win as a very important one for The Gunners.

"We haven't won for a while. It was very important that we won today to close in on Leicester City.

"We are in the title race. We can only control our performances and we believe in it. There is still a long way.

"The second half was about keeping the result. It was an important three points for us."

Wenger went on to praise Ozil for his performance.

"He has a fighting attitude. It was a top, top, top performance from him."

Arsenal are now third in the league table, and will entertain Leicester City next weekend.
