Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed his side to defeat Manchester United on Sunday and guarantee a spot in the UEFA Champions League group stage next season.
The Gunners are two points ahead of their hosts with a game in hand, and victory at Old Trafford would mean Arsenal cannot finish lower than third in the Premier League, a position that gets them straight into the UCL main draw. The team that finishes fourth faces potentially dangerous playoffs.


Arsenal beat United in the FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford and Wenger is plotting a repeat performance. 
"Mathematically,  we can put a distance between United and us in the top four and secure a top three place," Wenger said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
