West Ham coach Slaven Bilic has confirmed that former Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike is one of the players being considered to join the Hammers this month.
But the Croat was quick to add that there was no deal in place yet for the former Spartak Moscow forward.
West Ham offloaded Mauro Zarate to Serie A club Fiorentina, freeing up a place in their squad for the Fenerbahce striker who recently cut short his loan spell at Abu Dhabi club Al Ain.
“There is a new situation with a couple of our players might leave the club and if that happens then we are going to try to get one in – and Emenike is one of them (we’re looking at). But it’s not a done deal,” Bilic told The Mirror.
“Of course he is a good player. He is one of the players we have been linked with and we will see.” he was quoted on The Mirror.
