West Ham and Crystal Palace are eyeing a move for Celtic’s £3million-rated defender Efe Ambrose.
The 26-year-old has been a mainstay of the Hoops backline since he joined the Scottish champions in the summer of 2012 from Israeli club FC Ashdod.
Ambrose, who can play at centre-back or right-back, has built a reputation as a no nonsense defender for his rugged displays in the SPL.
Both the Hammers and Eagles are aware of his defensive prowess and believe they could lure the Nigeria international south of the border.
Celtic would be reluctant to lose Ambrose at such a crucial juncture of the campaign but the defender would welcome the opportunity to join a Premier League side.
