Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL side, Warri Wolves have threatened to adopt every legal option to ensure they were not denied their right as regards the transfer of midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo, Completesportsnigeria.com
Etebo, a Nigeria junior international, is understood to be close to a deal with an undisclosed second division team in Portugal, but the Seasiders insist the player is going about it through the back door.
"Etebo is our player, his contract with us is still running until the end of this season," starts an official of Warri Wolves, Azuka, to Completesportsnigeria.com.
"But how he chose to move without our knowledge is what we cannot understand.
"We're not going to hinder his career or his future. All that we are asking for is due process to be followed.
"There are laid down procedure as far as international transfer, or even local transfer is concerned.
