Zamalek coach Mohamed Helmy has boasted that his team will not be intimidated when they face Nigerian champions Enyimba inSunday's group stage CAF Champions League clash in Port Harcourt.
The "White Knights" as Zamalek are known have won the CAF Champions League five times, with their last title coming in 2002.
A former Zamalek player who won the CAF Champions League twice in 1984 and 1986, Helmy told CAFonline.com that Zamalek are not afraid to face any opposition.
“We respect all our opponents, but we fear no one,” Helmy said.
“It's been so long since we won an African trophy. This generation of players can bring back the CAF Champions League to the club.
“We know Enyimba is a very good side with a huge continental history. Every game at this stage is difficult and we respect all the teams. Sometimes it's healthy to feel worried, but not fearful. We will do our best in Nigeria."
Meanwhile, the group's other game will see Entet Setif welcome Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.
