Zambia skipper Rainford Kalaba has apologised for squandering scoring chances in Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Nigeria in an Afrincan Group B Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Kalaba who saw his headers saved on two occasions by the in-form Carl Ikeme who was in goal for Nigeria is confident the Chipolopolo will be better against Cameroon in their next game in Yaounde.
Cameroon forced Algeria to a 1-1 draw in Bilde in the other Group B match on Sunday.
Kalaba told Zambia Post: “I have to say sorry to the fans and to the nation. I missed good scoring chances.
"I could have scored one or two goals and overall, we could have won the game but we did not do much as a team so we are sorry, we will work on the weaknesses and do better in the remaining games.”Uncover how I make $750 weekly on Facebook using never been revealed Social Media tools.
