It is no mistake the Unai Emery is in the game of soccer. In fact, it seems that soccer boils in his family’s bloodline, as both his father and grandfather were in the game as well. While Emery once was a player like his father and grandfather, he has now taken on the role of head coach for the arsenals. However, his father and grandfather were goalkeepers back in their glory days, while Emery took on the role of a left-sided midfielder.

Unfortunately, Emery graduated from Real Sociedad without really breaking into the first team. It was not until he was 24 years old that he finally saw success in football. Emery continued his career in the Segunda Division and finally retired at 32 years old.

 Another achievement for Emery came several days ago, when he was hired as the head coach for Arsenal.

 During his managerial career, Emery won 10 honors, including two Trophee des Champion titles, two Coupe de France titles and three UEFA Europa League titles.
