–Kwara United’s 14 goal hero targets highest goal scorer’s award
Kwara United FC of Ilorin striker, John Chukwudi, has promised to do all he can to fire the Afonja Warriors to the Glo Premier League next season.
Chukwudi who has scored 14 goals so far this season is determined to ensure the Afonja Warriors are back to the nation’s elite division.
The former Spotlight of Katsina player described the team as one of the best in the country and his coach, Samson Unuanel as a great coach.
He said the club has the best crop of young players in the country, adding that he has enjoyed playing with some of them.
“I want to help this team qualify to the Premier League”.
“Ilorin is a lovely place to develop anybody’s career and the quality of the technical crew is fantastic”
“As a young player, I enjoyed working with Unuanel, he has really helped me to improve and he is one of the best in the country” Chukwudi said.
Chukwudi who scored a brace against DSS FC of Kaduna in Ilorin weeks ago, expressed optimism that the Afonja Warriors will promote to the Glo premier league.
He described Manu Garba as one of the coaches he will like to work within the nearest future and hopes to don the colour of the country there after.
Chukwudi described the team’s supporters as fantastic but urged them to always stay behind their team even when the team is not playing to their satisfaction.
