Nigerian youngsters Alex Iwobi, Chuba Akpom and Kelechi Iheanacho all scored as Arsenal beat Manchester City 3-2 in a pre-season friendly in Gothenburg, Sweden on Sunday.
Sergio Aguero put Manchester City ahead when he scored in the 30th minute.
But five minutes into Iwobi drew Arsenal level off an assist from Theo Walcott.
Walcott gave Arsenal a 2-1 lead in the 73rd minute, finishing off a brilliant one-two with Alexis Sanchez.
In the 85th minute, Akpom made it 3-1 to Arsenal, following a mistake in City’s defence.
But just two minutes later, Iheanacho halved the deficit, heading in Jesus Navas’ cross to end the game 3-2 in favour of Arsenal.
Iwobi has now scored three goals in pre-season while Akpom n.has otched his fourth.
Arsenal will open their English Premier League campaign next Saturday against Liverpool, while City will do battle against Sunderland.
