Kelechi Iheanacho has praised Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and striker Sergio Aguero for aiding the Nigeria forward’s development.
New boss Guardiola has led City to three straight victories in an impressive start to life as the club’s manager, while Aguero has already scored three Premier League goals in two games.
“Pep has brought his own style,” Iheanacho, who had an assist in City’s 4-1 win at Stoke on Sunday, said at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League second leg chash against Steau Bucharest.
“It’s going to look easy on the pitch when you have lots of players to pass to.”
Aguero scored a hat-trick in the 5-0 first leg win at Steau despite missing two penalties and Iheanacho is happy to be the Argentine’s understudy.
“Aguero is a great striker and I’m learning from him,” the Super Eagles youngster added.
“It’s not pressure, it’s a dream come true.”
Meanwhile, Guardiola has hinted that both Joe Hart and Yaya Toure, who are yet to feature in a competitive match since the Spanish coach’s arrival this summer, could play against the Romanians.
