1. ODAH BROTHERS CLASH IN ENUGU
The clash between Rangers and Warri Wolves at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday will see the Odah brothers; Okiemute and Onoriode come face to face against each other.
Okiemute who is the senior, is expected to be in goal for Warri Wolves, while Onoriode who has scored vital goals for Rangers this season will lead his side’s attack.
It will be interesting to see who come out tops between the two in this encounter.
2. CAN LOBI STARS END FIVE GAME WINLESS STREAK
The Pride of Benue have failed to register a win in their last five games. They are also hovering around the relegation zone.The Justine Tenger led side will look to put an end to that run when they confront relegation haunted Kwara United at the Ilorin Township Stadium on Sunday.
It won’t be an easy affair though as the visitors also need a win to boost their survival hopes.
3. CAN DOLPHINS, EL-KANEMI BREAK AWAY JINX?
Dolphins and El-kanemi Warriors are among the five clubsides yet to pick a win on road this season. The other three are Akwa United, Bayelsa United and Lobi Stars.
Dolphins travel to Jos where they will come up against Giwa FC. It will be interesting to see if they can beat the Jos Elephants who are in the hunt for a continental ticket at their backyard.
El-kanemi will also target their first away win against IfeanyiUbah in Nnewi.
4. ENYIMBA LOOKING TO BOUNCE BACK FROM HEARTLAND’s DEFEAT
The People’s Elephant, Enyimba, who lost 2-1 against Heartland last weekend will look to bounce back from the defeat when they host Shooting Stars at their fortress in Aba.
With their rivals looking to upstage them at the top of the log, it’s a must a win situation for the Aba based side.
They have the quality to ward off the threat of the Oluyole Warlords, but they could still find the going against Gbenga Ogunbote’s men who have proved a hard nut to crack since the gaffer took charge of the team from the sacked Franklyn Howard earlier in the season.
5. DAVIDSON OWUMI LOOKING TO HAUNT RANGERS
Warri Wolves Chief Executive, Davidson Owumi will be eager to get one over his former side, Rangers when the two teams clash in Enugu on Sunday.
Rangers enjoyed one of their most productive years under Owumi as their CE0, but he will put friendship and old acquitances aside and motivate his side to ensure they beat the Flying Antelopes at their backyard. Rangers beat the Seasiders in the reverse in Warri.
