Nigerian forward Olanrewaju Kayode was on target for Austria Wien in their 2-0 home win against Ried in the Austrian top division on Saturday.
It was Kayode’s fifth goal in 13 appearances for Austria Wien in the league this season.
Alexander Gruenwald put Austria Wien 1-0 ahead in the 63rd minute.
And in the 74th minute, Kayode sealed the win for his side making it 2-0.
In the German Bundesliga, Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun featured for Mainz who defeated visiting Frieburg 4-2.
Balogun was introduced for Jhon Cordoba in the 90th minute.
Young Nigerian defender Tyronne Ebuehi made an appearance for Ado Den Haag who lost 2-1 away to Groningen in the Netherlands Eredivisie.
Ebuehi was on for 90 minutes for Ado Den Haag in the encounter.
And in the Belgian elite division, Super Eagles defender-cum-midfielder Wilfred Ndidi featured for 90 minutes in Genk’s 2-0 home win against Eupen.
In action for Eupen was Nigerian forward Henry Chukwuemeka.
And in another Belgian top division clash, Super Eagles winger Moses Simon played for Gent who beat Mouscron 2-0 away.
While Simon saw action for 90 minutes, his Nigerian teammate Rabiu Ibrahim was an unused substitute.
In England, Sone Aluko was on for 90 minutes as Fulham drew at home with Sheffield Wednesday in a Championship clash.
