So far, Iwobi has been one of Arsenal’s outstanding players this season contributing his own fair share of goals and assists.

Iwobi has scored four goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season, improving on his two goals scored last season.

Also, the 20-year-old forward is in the running for Arsenal Player of the Month for January.

(BROWN IDEYE, OLYMPIAKOS)

This season is turning to be a memorable one for Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye following his goalscoring feat.

Twelve goals in 17 appearances for Olympiakos in the current campaign is an indication that Ideye is enjoying one of his best forms.

Although, he wasn’t too prolific in January, Ideye still went on to contribute his own share of goals to help Olympiakos maintain their leadership on the log.

Ideye was on target for Olympiakos in their 2-0 away win against Xanthi in a league clash on Sunday, 8 January, scoring the first goal.

And on Saturday, January 14, Ideye bagged a brace as Olympiakos were forced to a 2-2 away draw to Platanias.

Ideye had put Olympiakos 2-0 up before the hosts rallied back to draw level.

(STEPHEN ODEY, MFM)

Stephen Odey’s impressive performances for Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry (MFM) so far in the Nigeria Professional Football League will surely bring attention to him.

Odey’s brilliant displays and four goals have contributed to MFM occupying the second position in the league table.

Following such performances, Odeh could be one of the surprises of the 2017 NPFL season.

Odey exhibited how dangerous he could be as he scored a hat-trick in MFM’s 4-0 home win against Lobi Stars on Sunday, 22January.

And on Wednesday, 25 January, Odey was on target again for MFM who held Shooting Stars of Ibadan to a 1-1 draw.
